This project required an agile interior and we were able to achieve this by using the demountable walls and the modular electrical system within the walls. Due to the project’s remote northwest B.C. location, strategic planning in the design phase and clear, ongoing communication was essential to ensure the seamless delivery and installation of demountable walls, modular cabinets, meeting tables and chairs.
Our client moved away from their traditional office floor plan to a contemporary open concept. This new layout features group workstations based on a simple platform structure, meeting rooms, telephone booths for individual privacy and locker towers for personal storage. Work chairs were chosen for comfort, ergonomic design and adjustable settings. All multi-use areas bring people together in a mixture of relaxed modern seating in vibrant colours. This fresh design creates a collaborative and dynamic workspace environment.
Project objectives were to maintain consistency with current furniture styles while combining today’s need for work surface height adjustability and latest technology functionality. Innovative accessories such as multi-monitor arm systems, CPU holders, USB charging ports and cable management solutions complement the workstations. Seating selections included comfortable task chairs with adjustable ergonomic settings and guest chairs with clean lines and an inviting style for varied office settings. These carefully chosen furnishings all contribute to an organized, healthy and dynamic workspace environment.
With vivid upholstery options and endless reconfiguration potential, the Keilhauer Jumble was selected to meet our client’s need for a dynamic and flexible solution for an underutilized space. Through blending tones of luxurious textiles, we were able to seamlessly incorporate these furnishings into the client’s existing space and create an inviting space for employees to relax and refresh.
